Community Animal Hospital is committed to remaining open and available for you and your pets as long as we are able to serve your needs. In order to protect visitors to our hospital as well as staff members, we are instituting some changes in service.
Hospital Hours are changing to the following schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
Saturday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Sunday boarding pick up only 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Drop off for boarding during business hours only.
Changes in service at Community Animal Hospital as of March 23, 2020.
Changes will be in effect until further notice:
We will see scheduled appointments only
- -You may schedule appointments as drop offs for the day or for exams while you wait
- -In case of emergency, please call ahead on the way
- -Please call ahead to schedule boarding drop off and pick up as well
- -For new clients, please print forms from our website and bring them with you to your visit or email them to email@example.com.
-No one will be permitted to enter the building except hospital staff without prior consent
What to expect when you arrive:
- -When you arrive, stay in your car and call 540-674-1010
- -A CAH team member will collect information about the reason for your visit over the phone, then greet you at your car to bring your pet into the clinic. Please note, our personnel may wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for health and safety reasons when approaching patients.
- -Please wait in your car or schedule a time to come back later to pick up your pet.
- -After your pet is evaluated, the veterinarian will discuss with you by phone a plan for your pet’s care.
-When treatment is completed, you may pay with one of the following payment methods (please note, payment information is not kept on file):
- *Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) by phone
- *CareCredit by phone
- *Online with Scratchpay (requires preapproval)
- *With cash or check
- -Your pet’s discharge process will be discussed via phone, and any remaining balance will be collected prior to discharge from the hospital.
-A CAH team member will return your pet to your car along with any paperwork or medications to go home.
CAH will continue to dispense prescriptions as needed. Please allow 24 to 48 refills. Clients can call the clinic at 540-674-1010 to request refills. Our customer care team can take payment over the phone. The prescription will be given to the client outside the hospital.
Prescriptions may also be requested and filled through our online pharmacy and shipped to your home.
Pet Foods and Supplements:
CAH will continue to dispense pet foods, prescription foods, and supplements as needed. Please allow 24 to 48 refills. Clients can call the clinic at 540-674-1010 to place orders. Our customer care team can take payment over the phone. The prescription will be given to the client outside the hospital.
Pet foods, prescription foods, and supplements may also be requested and filled through our online pharmacy and shipped to your home.
